Train the Trainer – Irrigation and Horticulture

Since Namibia is a water scarce country and agricultural production is always limited by unpredictable and erratic rainfall, CuveWaters emphasizes capacity development and has planned trainings to share knowledge and improve farming skills.

This year CuveWaters is concentrating on “Irrigation and Horticulture with harvested rainwater”. The training will take place at the Rainwater Harvesting and Irrigation Field Laboratory at UNAM Ongwediva and will be conducted by Isaac Kariuki from One World Consultants. CuveWaters regards Isaac as a very experienced horticultural expert from Kenya and he has also spent a lot of time in Namibia training small-scale horticulture farmers.

CuveWaters is looking forward to train 15 participants, starting from the 16th of April and ending on the 5th of June. For more information on the training, please do not hesitate to contact Alexia Krug v. Nidda via email krug-von-nidda(at)isoe.de
