Certificates handed over
On 5th of June 2015 the certificates for the successful graduates of the training on „Extension Services in Horticulture and Irrigation with special reference to Rainwater Harvesting” were handed over. Altogether seven trainees finished the training successfully. Of the seven trainees two are working for UNAM Ogongo Agricultural campus, two for MAWF Oshikoto, two for the Rural Development Center in Ongwediva and one for the Rural Development Center in Okashana.
The certificates were handed over by the Founding Dean of UNAM Engineer Jose Eduardo dos Santos Campus Prof. Kavishe. The training was carried out under the supervision of Isaac Kariuki from One World Consultants Kenya.
The training was intended to further spread the knowledge about rainwater harvesting and irrigation within relevant Namibian institutions and furthermore to show these institutions how this knowledge can be spread even further in Namibia.
The training manual „Extension Services in Horticulture and Irrigation with special reference to Rainwater Harvesting in Namibia” will be available on www.cuvewaters.net soon.
