Floodwater Harvesting in Iipopo – how to get there
To get to Iipopo you start from the Open Market in Oshakati and follow the C41 towards Okahao. After approximately 35km you will find a road going to the left leading you to Onaanda (D3619). Follow this road for approximately 15 km until the town Onaanda. Pass Onaanda and follow the D3619 for another 5km, you will find a sign on the left side of the road showing the way to the “CuveWaters Floodwater Harvesting Pilot Plant”, follow it and you will already see the plant. From Oshakati to Iipopo it’s about a 1 hour drive.

During rainy season the facility might only be reachable using a 4x4 vehicle.
